Boxing Day falls on the 26th of December and I know that it is celebrated in England, Ireland, and Australia, but I was wondering if, like it is here in Canada, the stores in your area have major sales.

Usually it is mostly the Christmas stock that is like 80% off, but sometimes you can get real great deals.

It's the day after Christmas that British Commonwealth countries and Ireland celebrate. I think it has something to do originally with the British Lords and other rich people giving their servants the day off after Christmas (since they worked on Christmas), and they would leave scraps of food and presents for their servants in boxes?

I never give my servants a day off!
Even though it's a holiday in UK Whistle, all the stores will start their sales on Boxing Day. 90% of big shops will be open. :thumb:
