I'm not sure if The King of Kensington made it out of Canada or not, so here goes ...

The King of Kensington ran from 1975-1980 and starred the late Al Waxman (best known as the police chief from Cagney & Lacey) as Larry King (no relation to the CNN guy), owner of a variety store in Kensington Market in Toronto.

Larry lived with his fianceé Gwen, was often pestered by his ex-wife Kathy, and his mother Gladys refused to cut the apron strings. The interplay between the characters was what made this show so great :thumb:

TRIVIA: At the tender age of 12.. Mike Myers made his acting debut with a guest role as a boyscout. I remember that episode :thumb:
