Jolene - I've heard of one by Dolly Parton, but of course that was country.

If you have the NRG cd compilations it is track 10 on CD05...
If not, you can find it on Gnutella and/or Bearshare.

It is a remake of the Dollay Parton tune...

I have neither, but I know the song Brain Killer. Give me a bit, and I'll figure out who sang it. I believe the song came out in 1989, kind of a Industrial/Techno song.

The best version is by Strawberry Switchblade imo.

No, there was a song called Brain something that was played at Xcess in 1989. I did find a song by a industrial group called U 96 that had a song called Brain Killer. But it didn't come out until 1993 so I doubt that it is it.

I had it on a mix tape in 89. I'n not sure it was called brainkiller but that's all the song said.

Sisters of Mercy also had a version of Jolene (cover of the Dolly Parton song) back in the 80s. I only recall a live version off bootlegs. I know they have added it to their live sets for a long time but not sure if there was ever a studio version.

No specific hub, depens on what I am looking for. If I want some german music, then I go to a german hub, but mostly just the hubs on top of the hublist.

Dc is really the way to find rare stuff. I found some music that I thought would be impossible. Like princess Stephanie from Monaco her CD Besoin.
