For this belated Birthday wish to one of the greatest rock, heck, greatest period guitarists who ever lived. Mr. Randall William Rhoads born December 6, 1956 in Santa Monica California. You lived for your art and guitar was in your blood. You inspired thousands, including myself, of guitarists to strive for their best with your raw talent and beautiful sounds. You hold the bar of all a guitarist should be. And with all of your mastery you still remained humble and a true gentleman rarely seen by the few peers in your calibre'. You are sorely missed Bro and there will never be another like you. But you live on in the incredible playing that you left behind. I just wish there had been more time for you to share your talent with the world. Happy Birthday my musical mentor and Rest In Peace.

Randy raised thr bar so high, that only the likes of Gillis, Lee, and Wylde were able to step in and finish what he started...Thats a pretty incredible legacy if you ask me, because they are the best of the best...Here's to you Randy, and take care of Darrell for us...Rob Graves

ALL IS FORGIVEN!!!!
I'm new to this site and have gone through and read everything on it about Randy, the ude Rocked!!!!
All this Dimebag Darrell stuff the last couple days has had me in a state of disbelief, I told my wife the last time I felt like it was when Randy died.
My buddy and I used to sit in a candlelit room listening to Randy every anniversary of his death.
The day Tribute came out I almost cried when I heard the out takes of DEE, I couldn't believe I actually heard him speak!!!
The man was AMAZING!!!!!!! Just wish there was more of his work too appreciate!!!
Hard to believe it has been over 20 years that he has been gone. Could you imagine with his talent and down to earth personality, what he would have done AND become, the Ultimate!!!!
I just noticed your last name on your post, must be in the blood

Well said, BC. Guys like Randy come along so rarely. In an incredibly brief time, he left a mark on the music world that will never be forgotten.
