Be it a book, a song a film or event.

In my study I have some things from the 80's I use to inspire me.

Films: I have mounted in a frame two movies covers.
1: Tucker with Jeff Bridges reminds me that the little guy can accomplish anything.
2. Field of dreams: says to me dreams are wonderful tools to get what you want and that it's ok to be a little out there!

Music: Again I have a frame of covers of songs that meant a lot to me. I love how a song anchors you to a time or place.
1: Dont believe anymore ( icehouse) reminds me of a time when life seemed hard, felt like it was beyond me and I had lost control.
2:Dear God (midge ure) when I worried about the world we all live in.
3: One Step ahead ( Nik Kershaw) When things got better for me I realised that I just had to take it little by little and stop and smell the roses.
4: Dreamtime ( daryl hall) it was time to wake up and realize I controlled my future. It was mine to own!
5: Living years ( Mike and the mechanics) reminded me that although I had lost my family they were still there and always would be. Love is eternal.

What do you have from 80's that inspires you?

the Canadian 1980 hit 'Young and Restless' by Prism always makes me think of how your youth isn't long lasting, so make the best of it while you can.

I don't remember much of my youth, so it must have not been good times :))

Forever Young from Alphaville inspires me to really live in each moment and never to think or feel it's too late to do absolutely anything.
The movie Valley Girl inspires me to have the best wardrobe I can possibly have. :p
