Best nail-biters from the ranch
After J.R. Ewing was shot on March 21, 1980, the Dallas season-ending cliffhanger became one of TV's most anticipated events. Two cliffhangers will be re-enacted Sunday on the CBS special Dallas Reunion: The Return to Southfork (9 p.m. ET/PT), and the results of a CBS.com poll asking Dallas fans to rate their top 10 favorites also will be revealed. Here is a list of all 13 Dallas cliffhangers, along with their resolutions. USA TODAY's William Keck, a Dallas devotee, rates each cliffhanger's shock value with exclamation points. Dallas was always my favorite prime time soap opera and they certainly did have some great cliffhangers. But nothing could top the "the entire previous season was all just a dream" from 1986!

I remember an old episode from Patrick Duffy's 90's sitcom Step By Step where someone told him he looked like that guy from Dallas, and he replied something like "Nah, I'm much better looking than that guy"

My Dad used to watch this, Knots Landing (Dallas spin-off) and Falcom Crest every week. So we watched it whether we wanted to or not. I actually liked Dallas and loved to hate Abby on Knots.
