You know, if you ever look in the member list that there are people who only visited here once, signed up and never been back! I wonder if Roem, Val or Sal can "drop" the dead weight?

I was originally one of those. I posted a few replies when I first joined, then I left not planning on returning. 'Bout 2 months later, i accidentally stumbled in here again, and I've stayed ever since :)

^ And that's the exact reason we don't remove accounts... ya never know if someone may return. Either way, the capacity for member accounts is astronomical... removal of anything on this board is mostly done only out of absolute necessity... It's rare that anything is actually removed completely from the system.

No worries about internal forum maintenance and such... Sal & I got that well in hand ;)

This is easily the best message board i'v eever been a member of. It's so well-laid out. Alot of the others I go to are too confusing and all in a clutter

Why I remember when we were celebrating 1000 members!
This place just keeps growing and growing! And honestly.. the old members that haven't been around in a while find their ways back here after a while.. its just impossible to stay away forever.. and I LOVE that we have a wave of new members that are busy posters! You guys help bring life to the board after things get a little redundant. That's gonna happen from time to time.. we can't talk about the same 80s topics forever!! But the newbies help get fresh new topics or bring new life to old topics! With the memberlist growing the way it is, we'll never run out of things to talk about!! Not to mention the fantastic relationships we have all built on this board! I LOVE YOU GUYS!

"Active" is subjective. Some people who visit once a week for an hour may think that's 'active', while others think you have to be here at least 6 days a week.

Maybe Roem has a little list somewhere of all the members who have posted in, say, the last 2 weeks? That would give us an average, at least. Come on, Roem, you have everything else! :lol:

BTW, stlkev70....I love the fact that you think I have so much power. :lol: Only Roemy and Sal have all that. ;) I'm just a lowly little game and list mod. ;)

Of course I got it :p In the past 2 weeks, 344 members have logged in ;)

That's pretty good considering I've seen forums that have over 3000 members total and about 5 active members :p

If every registered member were active here, the site would most assuredly crash out... HARD :eek::uhoh:

If every ACTIVE member would PM or Email a NON ACTIVE member and invite them back, imagine how many new/old people would come back!

I'm usually on here well no I am on here everyday sometimes 3 to 4 times a day! I am hooked.

Only two more members are needed to make 7000!

I'm guessing the Xchange's 7000th member will join as early as tonight!
