About a year and a half ago, I started making a rubber band ball out of "found" rubber bands. The rule is, I can't buy any to add to it. They have to be ones I find, ones that come wrapped around the mail, ones that band veggies together, etc. So far, it's the size of a baseball. It is kind of an example of the excess off stuff that we get all the time, the reasons behind why we have to recycle, etc. Hey, it's something to do!

What kind of things do you do that nobody else understands, but you just think "Screw it--I like it!" ?

I know what you mean--you either "get" what art gives to a person, or you don't, and as an artist, it's impossible to explain to anyone else.

My fiance is easily amused after I have been sweating all day and I develop zits and she practically begs me to let her squeeze them.
I easily get amused watching people at work running to catch the elevator and all the inventive ways they try to keep the door open!

Acquiring massive amounts of used dryer fabric softening sheets, I don't always throw them away right away, sometimes I miss a few and they are stuck in the arm hole of my shirt or jeans.

Here is a lady that is artistic with dryer lint...how resourceful!

What do I specifically do?
I collect milk rings from gallon jugs of milk to throw down my apartment hallway to play with my cat. She loves chasing it, but she never brings them back to me. She is getting so good she catches them in mid-air!

I have often thought of making castles out of laundry soap powder boxes and oat meal containers. I think I saw them do that on Mr. Rogers' Neighborhood once. :lol:

Well today, everything amused me. I've been chuckling at "Hee Haw" and "Twitney" all day. It's probably the sleep deprivation because nobody else thinks this stuff is as funny as I do.

It amuses me to see people get worked up over nothing. :lol:

This I can totally relate too... some people can't stand how laid back I am... then most love it and enjoy my spontaneous sense of humor :p

I find just about everything amusing... from topics some find of extreme seriousness, to little trivial things... the world is just a funny place to me and I laugh at it all regularly :p

My own jokes. Giggles. Most people don't think any of my jokes are funny. I'm usually the only one laughin and that in turn is the reason they begin to laugh, because they think I'm so darned silly and non-funny. :lol:

Hmmm....me and my sister have a, geez...20 year old joke just between the 2 of us..

Tutus...yes the things that ballarinas wear. I dont remember exactly how it started, and neither of our husbands can understand it either. When her and I get together, all we have to do is pick out a total stranger, and say..TuTu.

We crack up, and people think we are nuts.. :mwaha:

Other things that amuse me only...I break out in silly little quotes from movies..and no one gets them...

If my husband is trying to be serious..I call him out with "Buuuuulllllllllshiiiiiiiiit, Bobby" and he cracks up laughing...and no matter how hard anyone else tries, they cant do it like me...
