Singer Frankie Valli files for divorce
LOS ANGELES (AP) — Singer Frankie Valli has filed for divorce from his wife of 20 years, according to court documents.
Divorce papers filed Friday in Los Angeles Superior Court show that Valli, 67, and his estranged wife Randy separated Thursday.
The couple has 10-year-old twin boys and a 17-year-old son.
Valli, a Newark, N.J. native whose given name is Frank Castelluccio, was elected in 1990 to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame as a member of the Four Seasons.
He is known for such hits as Sherry,Walk Like a Man,Rag Doll and the theme song from Grease.
He also has appeared on HBO's The Sopranos and several films, including 1998's Witness to the Mob, 1990's Modern Love, and the 1978 feature Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band.
