Does anyone know if there was a dance mix for "Turn Me Loose", issued back when it was first released?

I don't think anybody actually danced to it, Rufus. We just stood around awkwardly in the Junior High School gym and shuffled our feet from side to side with the occasional hand-clap.

Kinda like that awkward moment during 'Stairway to Heaven' when the slow part changes into the fast part. What the hell do you do???

Anyway, I didn't discover my dancing rhythm until I was introduced to that wonderful inhibition eraser fondly known as draught beer....

The thing is that I have a cd entitled "Club Epic", and included on this collection is "Turn Me Loose" by Loverboy, in the liner notes it states that there was a dance mix for it back when it was released in '80, why it was not included, I don't know. But, I am a big fan of Loverboy, and would like to get my hands on a copy of this if it even exists.

It contains the original version of the song...not a special dance mix. ;) Only about half the songs are the 12" remixes...the others are the regular versions. It also mislabels the English version of "99 Red Balloons" as being "99 Luftballoons":

I hope so, I'd kind of like to hear it! I've looked around but haven't found anything :( I think if they just sorta changed the beat a little, it could be a good dance song. That was one reason why I bought that Club Epic disc, because I was curious to see how some songs like "Turn Me Loose" and "What I Like About You" were remixed...then I found out they just weren't heh
