In 1981, Cliff Richard had a http://www.webfitz.com/lyrics/canFlag.gif Canadian top 20 and American almost top 40 hit with the song Give A Little Bit More. It was a "Non-UK" single that was taken from his 1980 album I'm No Hero

NOTE: The http://www.webfitz.com/lyrics/canFlag.gif Canadian version of the album had different sleeve art

In America the song charted at #41, becoming Cliff's 14th hit (and had it made the top 40, it would have become his 9th Top 40 hit)

In http://www.webfitz.com/lyrics/canFlag.gif Canada the song charted at #15, becoming Cliff's 17th hit (his 16th Top 40 hit)

I really liked that song. It did quite well down here in New Zealand too.

I really liked it too. It's a shame Cliff never had more success over here.

Didn't know it - but it sure is a contender for "worst cover"

I have the CD of that album with "Give A Little Bit More" on it (bought it off ebay).

Though the song stalled at #41 on BB, it did crack the top 40 in Cashbox magazine's Top 100, peaking at #36.

I also have the 45 in a p/s

Cliff had another chart song with a similar title called "Never Say Die (Give A Little Bit More)".
