Does anyone remember P.O.W.?

It still remains one of my favourite arcade games ever. One of the few I could play for hours on end without ever getting sick of it!

It was very difficult at times when maneuvering around with the machine gun, but once you got the brass knuckles, the real butt kicking would begin

The one thing I didn't like was getting the Armor. With it you could block bullets that come at you, which was good, yet you could get hit in the back with a bullet at anytime

The NES version was a little longer than the Arcade version as it seemed to have more levels which made it even more difficult (luckily where was a code that got you 99 lives to start  )

AHHHHH POW. A pretty good side scroller that was overshadowed during the side-scrolling revolution.

I miss the days of side scrollers. Now adays, it's all first person perspective. I don't care too much for those kind of games. They are quite difficult

I have an arcade room with such side scrollers as Double Dragon/Narc/Rolling Thunder. I miss them too!

I used to love Rolling Thunder. Ducking in those doors to avoid bullets.

I can recall playing a similar game to Rolling Thunder, where o nthe first level, you were in some kind of space station with some big missle that was ready to launch. I had no idea how to get by the first level. Probably spent over 50 bucks trying.

I loved that game! My best friend and I used to get into fights over who was better at that game!
