Does anyone remember games Smash TV and Total Carnage?

Those games were so much fun. I loved it when you got one of those Green Bullseye forcefields and you had a really powerful gun. You could just walk around blowin' the hell out of everything. Too bad the civilins always got in the way :lol:

I loved it in the home versions of both games for NES/SNES, you could either use the buttons on the joystick to shoot or use both controlers a'la double joystick arcade mode

Not familiar with Total Carnage, but Smash TV I do remember... what a quarter eater that thing was! :eek: Fun though... even funner with MAME for free :D

At the opening shot in Total Carnage, a message would appear that reads "all Smash TV players should quit now and flee this machine" :lol:

In Total Carnage, you could rescue hostages and collect super weapons like flamethrowers and rocket launchers and then you get to blow the hell out of everything from Tanks to Jeeps and even helicopters :lol:

solved both in the arcade back then. And recently on the Midway treasures vol 1 (Smash TV). Vol 2 comes out later this year and I think has Total Carnage on it.
