I used to sometimes be able to beat that old arcade game The Punisher in one quarter without needing a player 2 (although sometimes a Player 2 made it easier when Battling Kingpin at the end)

I used to be very good at the olympic arcade game Gold Medalists. I could set the world record in every event and get all the way through day one, and second day Seoul in just 1 quarter. Playing it these days, i'm lucky if i can just "barely" qualify in each event :lol:

Don't know about finishing Ms Pac Man with one quarter. That game seemed to have gone on & on :happy:

I don't remember finishing a game using a quarter. Perhaps because we don't use quarters here :p But I know what you mean - have never been that good in any game :bigcry:

I could finish Wonderboy on 40c (which is what we used here instead of quarters) I knew were a lot of the 1ups were so I'd get stacks of free men. Double Dragon I could finish on a few continues, although I do seem to remember maybe finishing it once without having to continue.

I could play Tag Team Wrestling forever on 1 quarter. I remember many times having to lose on purpose cause mom & dad wanted to leave the mall.
I also had all the high scores on the machine, quite the accomplishment for a youngun.

As I've mentioned in other threads before, I could do Black Tiger in one quarter... I've even done it once without losing a single life! Only other one I remember doing in a quarter is from the 90s... Street Fighter II.

Those two swordsmen in that wrestling ring or that big cop that takes away like half your life if he hits you make it near impossible to even get remotely far in 1 quarter

Even that big Andore Jr. guy in the red suit is quite difficult to defeat in the subway

tell me about it, everyone in the arcade was dumbstruck when he pulled it off.
