Ladies, what style of bathing suit do you wear?

Cracky! I'm the only vote so far? I wear a bikini....I like it.

Bikini ... for the first time since high school :rockon: I don't look perfect or hot in it, but I've seen a LOT worse!!! I've come a long way in the past year or so... 'bout damn time! :D

Other - tankini. My torso is too long for a one-piece and there's no way I'd be seen in a bikini (yet), so I have to go with a tankini.

Kim, I'm sure you look great in it. And believe me I know what you mean about seeing alot worse. DH & I are in shock with what people wear. We see them out on the boat & are like "you've got to be kidding me". Makes me feel a heck of alot more confident in what I look like after seeing some people.

When I go to the river, I see women in suits that should NOT ever be!!! What makes a 350lb woman think it's ok to wear a thong?? I'm sorry but just cause you are at the river doesn't mean it's a "free for all" :rolleyes:

I wear a bikini even though I don't have the body for it. I just throw on a t shirt if i go swimming in it. I like tanning my tummy as well so I wear one, I am a little self conscious but try to to worry about it too much. I'm not 350 lbs in a thong lol so its all good hehehe

I normally wear a one piece if I do wear a bathing suit, but normally I wear a t-shirt and shorts to the beach.

I can't wear them. I hate the way they feel and even though I'm smaller than I have been in a long time, I still feel like I'm a gigantic pig and I will probably always feel like that. I don't get into the water at all, no way, no how, if there is anyone but people I know around, and I dress in dark shorts and dark T shirts. I am the most body shy person there is.

Kim, baby, it's impossible, what you are saying--you are just hot. It wouldn't matter if you weighed 350, you would still be hot.

I've worn a bikini since I was 13, and I wouldn't have it any other way.

I just got a pink string bikini from Victoria's Secret.
it has a little cut-out heart shape on one side of the top, and on one side of the back part of the bottom.
the closest thing to a tattoo for me when I lay out, unless I ever get the nerve.

though I'll prob be too shy to wear it in public. :D

And I absolutly hate my thighs, so I have the matching skirt ;)

I wear a bikini and have wore one for a while now. I do wear board shorts over my bottoms since I feel more secure with them on. I have such a large top that I did wear a tank over it so that I wouldn't flash anyone or traumatize any small children while on vacation.

I just got back from Schlitterbahn and Oh my gawd is all I can say still. I guess some ppl think spandex means that it should stretch to the point of becoming transparent and it's still okay to wear it. ick

I only wish more bathing suits came with underwire. It's hard to find a suit that fits my boobies.

LOL you should have seen my daughter. I swear her jaw hit the ground and I was blinded by the sun reflecting off her braces. She said oh my gawd mom did you see that lady. She is self conscious too and she shouldn't be but after all that she was feeling super good. She said at least I have respect for other peoples eyes. I'll have to post some of our pics from Schlitterbahn. I got them back today :D Geez it was awsome!

OMG I LVOE that suit. I saw it in the mag. Do you remember when we used to lay out and put stickers on our body so we'd have a little star or heart shaped tan mark? That bathing suit totally reminded me of that! :lol:
