Article:
Though it's too early to tell for sure, it is possible that the Ebola virus, responsible for the deaths of many in Africa, may have landed in North America. A woman from the Congo (Congo-ese?, Congolan? Congoloid?) landed at a New York-area airport then caught a connecting flight to Pearson Int'l in Toronto. Currently in Mt. Sinai hospital in T.O., she is showing symptoms very similar to those shown by Ebola victims in Africa. Samples have been sent to a Canadian health official in Edmonton, Alta and the CDC(P) in Atlanta for tests. Spread of the virus occurs through contact with bodily fluids. Hopefully, this will turn out to be a false alarm, but if not, we could be facing a not-too-minor health problem here, as a good number of affected patients die from the disease.

Response from another user:
The lady does have Ebola, but a massive outbreak is unlikely. It is not an airborne infection, you need direct contact with a body fluid from an infected person to get it.

Sal’s response:
Well, since coughing and sneezing can spread the disease, I think it could be worse than we think.. Only time will tell.
