I'm currently re-designing my cartoon website. One of my characters is a musical group of 4 cats. They're a jazz band (playing the most frantic swing jazz ever). I know a few people here play/write their own music. Just wondering if anyone would like to contribute? It doesn't have to be jazz (it's a cartoon. Since when is there continuity in cartoons?). And the length of the song can even be 30 seconds long (this is the web after all).

For now, I'm making a section on the band's bio. I plan on including their 'videos' (in Flash)-- this is where the music comes in.

You'd get full credit of course. I can't guarantee when I'll finish a cartoon-- I work on the computer full time during the day and I get too tired to look at another monitor at night. So as far as I know, I could finish it this Christmas.

My site isn't near the quality (and frequently updated) as the other sites made by conglomerate$. Speaking of which, I can't afford to pay top dollar ;) If you'd like to barter (I'm a web designer), we can.

Oh, all rights to the song will be yours.

If you want to see the site, there's an under reconstruction sign but there are working links to the older design (there's no mention of the group). It's superspud.com (http://www.superspud.com).

If you can't write music, you can play a song in the public domain. Like say, taking a usually slow jazz ballad (doesn't have to be jazz!) and making it really fast.

On another note, if anyone here does remixes...
