I thought I'd do this survey to celebrate Canada Day and the upcoming Fourth of July. Just replace my answers with yours.

What are you planning for the Canada Day/Fourth of July? Well, since this year I'm not going to my Mom's house I'm probably just going to spend the day going to a free concert that's being held by The Goo Goo Dolls.

When you were younger, what did your family do to celebrate the holiday? My family used to get together and have a picnic and then watch the fireworks.

What are you planning on eating for the holiday? Whatever they have at the free concert.

What's your opinion on people shooting off fireworks illegally?
I don't know about this. I'm mixed about it. I don't like it when people shoot off M80s or Bottle rockets, because there's that danger. But I could never see the harm in sparklers or those little snakes. I remember as a child watching the snakes go off when my parents set them on fire. And I used to hold sparklers. If parents suprvised their kids then you probably wouldn't get all these accidents of their kids getting burned.

When you were younger, what did your family do to celebrate the holiday?

I grew up 3 blocks away from the charles so I had prime seats for the fireworks and traffic jams later on that night.

Whatever I can bring on my camping trip

What's your opinion on people shooting off fireworks illegally?

As long as they're not bottle rockets or M80's who cares. :)

What are you planning for the Fourth of July? Probably gonna have a BBQ, then watch fireworks at the fairgrounds

When you were younger, what did your family do to celebrate the holiday? We always went to DC, and watched the fireworks from the steps of the Capital building

What are you planning on eating for the holiday? Shrimp kabobs & crabs. I think I'm gonna make a flag cake! I've never made one before, always bought them.

What's your opinion on people shooting off fireworks illegally? I could care less, as long as they are safe & not putting anyone or anything in danger.

Since it's after Canada Day, I'll be writing in the past tense.

What are you planning for the Canada Day/Fourth of July?
Actually, I was originally supposed to be in New York for the weekend visiting soem friends but that didn't end up happening. Then my friends and I were supposed to go to Ottawa (Canada's capital--always a party on Canada Day!) but that didn't happen either. So I ended up planning a really, really quiet day washing my car and re-reading the 5th Harry Potter book (I've been really stressed lately and could use a shutdown like this). But, I couldn't wash my car and didn't read much of the book because I had to go on a little cruise of a little part of Lake Ontario. Which wasn't so bad. However, getting there was a logistical nightmare!

When you were younger, what did your family do to celebrate the holiday?
Clean up the house! At night, we'd go to Canada's Wonderland or Ontario Place to watch the fireworks.

What are you planning on eating for the holiday?
More protein than carbs! Then again, on June 30th, in a fit of patriotism, I polished off a bag of maple syrup candies.

What's your opinion on people shooting off fireworks illegally?

As long as it's low-key, like sparklers. I have 5 packs of those long sparklers from last Victoria Day (2003) that I still haven't used so I'm hopin gto use them this weekend.
