Kelly Osbourne says that she's decided to go in a whole new direction from her first album, which she says was a lost cause because she was so young.

"To fill the shoes of rock and roll because of the family I have, is a really hard thing," she said in an interview with AP Radio. "That's not really my deal. I don't really like rock. I like '80s pop. I really went in an '80s direction this time."

I own Kelly's first album and I actually liked it. Not that I would play it 24/7 but I really didn't mind it at all. I would be interested to hear her 80's pop stuff, tho.

If she likes our favourite era, then good luck to her for having the gumption to go against the commercial grain and do something she enjoys. Even if it sounds bad, she influences a lot of people, and this sort of exposure can only add to the Eighties revival that has without doubt gained a strong foothold all over the planet :thumb:
