Two things made me decide to start this thread. 1. Sonny Crockett's thread Make Someone's Day and 2. the reputation comments I've gotten from a few people.

Here's the opportunity to publicly thank those people who TOTALLY make your day with the comments they make when they leave you positive rep.

Getting rep is fantastic, but giving it can be sometimes be very hard. I try my best to leave interesting comments. It's kind of like in high school when someone asked you to sign their yearbook, sometimes if you don't know the person that well all you put down is, "To so and so, have a nice summer." So if some of my rep comments seem a bit uncreative that's not that I don't like you, it's because I can't think of anything creative to say. Does that make sense. :lol:

Just to explain what rep means (I only found out about it by accident...

Click on the words User CP (which stands for control panel), it will tell you all the "messages" that you "subscribed" to, also at the bottom of the page, there are private reps (called reputation) that other members left about you, commenting on something you posted or just a friendly hello or something more personal once everyone gets to know you.

How you can leave rep is this... look in the upper right corner of each message on the board... do you see the little white scales symbol? Click on that, check the first dot to leave positive feedback, then type something nice.

Hope that helps explain it, that's what I understand about it anyways.
