anyone know anything about this? Can you determine whether you have polycistic ovaries from a blood test? I'm asking because one doctor wanted me tested for that and the test sounded elaborate. When I asked another doctor for a second opinion they just ran a few blood tests on me and a thyroid test. I told the second doctor about the suspicion of the first one and the test results were much different but the second doctor didn't mention polycystic ovaries, just that I have an underactive thyroid (which the first one failed to diagnose).
