I just made a little optimization to the forums load... curious to know if those who've experienced slow loads notice any difference? It seems faster to me, so I think it worked...

I put my puter on speed. So I have more ZIP power. The drug I gave it was called Mozilla.

I was one of the peeps who had trouble with the pages taking forever to load and they have gotten faster! :thumb: but I have trouble mainly because I am on dial-up so It doesn't really bother me that they were slow, but now they are faster it is nice :)

I've noticed a little change, but like Wendy, I'm on dial up so it doesn't bother me.

I imagine cable/dsl users won't see much, if any difference. But I know there's dial up users here who've had to go through waiting hell for pages to load. Good to hear most of those who had the slowness see improvement! :)

Just as a side note, I just downloaded Firefox 0.9.1 (http://fileforum.betanews.com/detail/1032985422/1) and the pages load much faster than with IE.

I've got DSL , So not much difference here...But, never had a prob with pages loading ! Issaaaaallll ( still ) Good ! :thumb:

Like al the other High Speed Users ... I haven't seen much, but then again, I have a dual Firewall up and page refeshes can get a littl slow.

I have a DSL connection so I haven't really noticed any difference, but if it's changed for the dial-up users then that's still pretty cool!

Speed has dramatically improved across the pond, having spent ages complaining about it ;)

I'm definitely noticing an improvement, nothing dramatic but an improvement nonetheless.
