Hello all!
I'll try to make this short but as everyone knows by now, I'm long-winded!
Anyway, I have a very serious problem with fatigue. I have been under treatment for major depression since I was about 15 (I'm 25 now). At 19, they finally found a combination of anti-depressants that worked. My moods are fine but because I'm on such high dosages, the fatigue is TERRIBLE!!
My doctors tried to lower the dosage but then my meds don't work as well. To give you an idea of how bad off I was, I went 3 months without leaving my house, not even to stand on the front porch. I have an out-of-control temper without my meds & I'm surprised I didn't go AWOL & kill someone. Not too mention the fact that I was completely suicidal to boot.
Needless to say, stopping my medication is not an option. Due to my fatigue, I have put on weight & some days I can barely get out of bed. I went through some medical tests to make sure there wasn't something else wrong &, so far, nothing is amiss.
Does anyone out there have any ideas on how I might be able to get my energy level back up? I'm not out to become an Olympic athlete or anything, I would just like to be able to work on getting my weight down & my energy level up. It's more for my health that to try to fit into a size 5 dress.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
