Well if all we talked about was UB40 and Eddy Grant, I'd have heaps to say. Otherwise, I'd just be sitting there wondering why Rastafarians like putting cow dung in their hair. ;)

There was some good reggae out there, but it mostly fell into the pop category. I don't believe there are enough people into reggae to warrant giving it a whole forum, too much wasted space, imo. So, once again, it seems to be a landslide: No Reggae Forum! :)

That Guy Next Door TGND, I just thought of ska after I posted my message... I was thinking along the lines of Madness, The Specials, etc.

Steve.. we have a forum for pretty much everything already! You could talk about reggae in one of the other forums that are closely related to it..and there are several.. We have metal in common, don't we?

Just adding my reply from the other topic of the same subject before it's taken out...

I think we got music genre's covered well as is...only other one that may be made if more support is shown is the country forum, but that's probably about it...unless I'm forgetting another mainstream style that was big in the 80's? I don't think we are...

I like the old Trojan Ska from the 60s & 70s. Not very topical though for an 80s Board. You can hear tons of it in The Beat, The Specials, General Public, etc.

There's probably enough spots already to discuss it if we want. :)
