Adding the pics was great, Wendy! I didn't recognize the names but when I saw the pics, that helped.

I only played Pacman, Pole Position and Paperboy out of this bunch. My vote goes to Pacman since to me, that started it all. Probably the first game I ever played. Popeye looks fun, tho!

From the list, I chose Pac-Man. Other faves were Dig Dug, Centipede, Galaga, and Asteroids :D

I'm on the opposite end of the spectrum :lol: I used to suck at Pole Position, so I'll go with Pac-man.... although Popeye and Paperboy were quite addicting in their own right :cool:

I was the king of Paperboy and Pole Position. I played Pole Position ad naseum on my Atari 5200.

I went with Pac-Man. Second & third would be "Punch-Out!!" and Pole Position.

hmmm i gotta go with ms pac-man, especially the fast version. i used to own a resturant and yeppers i had a ms pacman machine there so everynight after work id be on it for hours just playing and competeing against my brothers...it got to the point that when customers came in to pick up there orders i could not get off of the machine :D

I chose Pac-Man (although I liked Pole Position as well).

I'm torn between Pac Man and Pengo as they are both soo cool. Ended up with voting Pengo - loved the music, although it got quite annoying after a while (but what arcade music didn't? ;) )

Gonna go with pole position on this one. mainly because of the badly digitized voice saying "prepare to qualify" always made me giggle as a kid. Loved the cartoon too, even though it had ABSOLUTELY NOTHING to do with the video game.

Parodius was also a fav, for the complete insanity of the game.

I think what made ms pac-man better was more mazes (4 to 1), the moving fruit bonuses, and the ghosts who can "see" you and change their movement accordingly.

P.O.W. - Prisoners of War. That was the best :thumb:

My friends and I used to hang out at a Dino's Pizza. We passed out flyers in the local neighborhoods on the weekends sometimes and besides free pizza, and jukebox the manager would also let us play a table top version of Phoenix for free! So, I got VERY good at it! There is a little known secret that will give you 300,000 points instantly! But I'll never tell! :lol:
