GTA: San Andreas will be at least triple the size of GTA: Vice City because the game will not take place in Los Angeles, San Francisco, or Las Vegas. it will take place in all three locales as well as the countryside in between.

Los Angeles will be called Los Santos. San Francisco will be called San Fieero. Las Vegas will be called Las Venturra. each city is about the same size as Vice City. not all cities will be open at the start of the game. San Fierro (San Francisco) will have hills. this city is more driving based. you can drive from LA, through the countryside, up a mountain, into San Fran, and onto Las Vegas. also there will be a lot more buildings with open interiors. in Las Venturra (Las Vegas) and you can own and operate a casino.

the graphics, physics and AI have been improved. there will be, for example, real-time reflections on cars, windows, and mirrors, as well as new techniques like radial lighting, which allows for more realistic shadowing, and soft-shadow lighting for interior levels will be present. enemies will be smarter, which will make robbing houses take a lot of skill.

the June issue of Game Informer has these datails and much more. the issue is expected to hit newstands on May 21. the game will be released, for the Sony Playstation 2, in late October 2004

It isn't even scheduled for release until 10/18. How have you played it? Are you a developer or beta tester or something?

They have a demo of it on GTA Vice City. All you have to do to access it is beat the game without firing a bullet.

I'm kidding, I haven't played it. I just wanted to get some responses that I was full of :bs: . It makes me feel loved.

I like the x-box version better than the ps2. There's nothing like programming your own 80's music onto the radio.

I have a lot of faith in Rockstar to not change the little things that mad GTAVC so popular. A lot of sequels tend to be worse due to trying to incorporate too many ideas and forgetting the basics. Looks a little gangsta to me.
