Thanks for reminding me! :thumb: I've never seen them all in order, I'll be watching!
I own the DVD boxed set. It is an incredible series that I highly recommend watching. I have probably watched the full series at least three times. Certainly makes you appreciate what that generation sacrificed.
I watched the Box set, and it is so compelling. At the end, when all the people who are the interview subject are finally named, it took my breath away. Didnt realise they were all actual people, and not charectors.
Amazing the resolve and determination those men showed.

Watched the first episode tonight..loved it! Very well written and directed not to mention the fine acting. looking forward to tomorrow nights installment! :thumb:
I missed tonight but I have the box set as well. If you really enjoy the series, I recomend that you read the book by Steven Ambrose that the mini-series is based of off. It is well writen and has a few things that the series left out. Both are very well done and a great tributes to the men who served in WWII. :flag:

I watched them all when they first aired a while back, I watch a lot of shows on WWII and while this did show a lot of the "American" point-of-view, it did also show that they weren't all angels.
The last few episodes really upset me though, like I said I watch a lot of WWII shows but the images of the concentration camp scenes are still with me!
Great series though, might buy it on DVD.
