Up here in Northern BC the 80's are still alive. I am a highschool teacher and I run a drama club. To make money my students decided that they wanted to hold an 80's dance

Myself and a couple of staff from the 80's are dj-ing the dance. I am having so much fun burning cds for it. Any suggestions for good 80's dancing music? ;)

It depends if you want actual dance music or classics the kids are gonna know. I would recommend several re-mix/re-made albums that your kids should like. The first one is "Kill The DJ" by Keoki and another is 80's Energy mixed by John Budz. Both of these albums have some suped up mixes of 80's songs. As far as classics...can't go wrong with some AC/DC Shook Me All Night Long, Frankie Goes To Hollywood - Relax, Hooters - And We Danced, toss in a few classics they will recognize like Boys of Summer and It's My Life. Any of the great dance classics would be fun but you will have to decide if they are appropriate or not. Mony Mony - Billy Idol(Most Idol will work), Into the Groove - Madonna and don't forget to throw in some Michael Jackson, Beat It for fun...Good luck they probably will either love a song or hate it but try some out on your kids first.
