A-Ha - Lifelines (2002)

Don't stay frosted on their 2-3 hits, yeah thoses are good songs but you need to discoved their other songs and that CD proove it all. 1st time I hear it, I see a little change but not big, I was thinking it was 88 or 89 and now I found the cd was released in 2002.

A-Ha is unique, you will fall in love with the 1st song I can guarantee you this! The song is called like the cd, ''Lifelines''. Dragonfly another emotive song... in fact all songs brings something new to A-Ha. Unique songs by a unique band! The music is rich, inspired and emotional! I like it from the beginning!! 15 great songs to make this a complete CD!

I rate this CD... A- (nearly perfect!)

A-ha did a great song in 2001 called Velvet that appeared in the movie One Night at McCools. Did it appear on an A-ha album, possibly this one?

It appeared on the "Minor Earth - Major Sky" album from 2000 :thumb:

It was originally a "Savoy" tune - Pal Waaktaars other band based in NY. The original version can be found on the Savoy album "Mary is coming" from 1996 - and I actually think the original version is slightly better, but don't tell anyone :sealed: The album as such wasn't much, but the song itself was/is great!

I use to love A-ha, however, I haven't heard their newer music. I didn't even know they had a newer album from 2002. I will most certainly consider buying this album. Thanks for the referral!!! :thumb:

the song Lifelines was sadly not a hit on radio here in Canada, but the single itself sold pretty well and charted into the top 20 on the Canadian single sales chart.

Because none of their singles matched the success of Take on Me in 1985, A-ha are generally regarded as a one hit wonder in America, but here in Canada, their albums have always seemed to sell well :)
