First off, this CD has TWELVE songs! So, you arent being cheated!
This sounds overall, like any Tesla CD you ever heard, but since they never fit into the 80s hair metal scene, nor the classic rock sound, they can sound like they did, and not seem dated.
Plus, all but one song is over 4 minutes long, so that is a LOT of tunage for your dollar!
I cant do a track by track listing and my opinions of each, because, as one of my favorite bands in the 80s/early 90s, this sounds like the old stuff, but new at the same time. I cannot do justice to it. If you liked old tesla, you owe it to yourself to pick up this CD TODAY. Some of the best tracks are LOOK @ ME, WORDS CAN'T EXPLAIN, CAUGHT IN A DREAM (currently being played on classic rock stations) ONLY YOU.
There is also a tune called HEAVEN NINE ELEVEN about the terrorist attacks.
But, it doesnt come off like a sappy song, because it addresses it as a theme, and not "here is a song about 9/11".
This CD will be in my player for a while, I know it. It is a great, great CD. Well produced, great sounding vocals, thoughtfull lyrics, and a good rocking time.
I cannot recommend this CD highly enough! EVERY rock fan should own this CD!
