Hello~ :bouncy: I heard there is a new CD ‘Greatest Irish Band’. By working at universal I heard the CD has music from Celtic Pop to Punk and a bonus DVD ‘Slighting of Bono’. I just got the CD and it great. :thumb: Check it out.

Funny thing about that is, they aren't from Ireland, they're from the USA.

Hey DJDaffy ... I thought I had read this somewhere before, and sure enough ... it seems that the Rovers where orgianlly from Ireland, they all met in Calgary, Alberta (Canada) and started in 1964 ... here's the link to their info ... http://www.canoe.ca/JamMusicPopEncycloPagesI/irishrovers.html

I still think they're good !

Well that site says they were imigrants from Northern Ireland and they always say that's where they are from. But I guess they are US citizens now huh?

Wow, I had no idea Jim passed away. :(

The Irish Rovers are indeed a Canadian group :)

I still love their 1980 hit Wasn't That A Party. By then they were just known as The Rovers
