Do you think what is legal is also what is moral, and vice versa?
I don't, I was just wondering what others think.
For example, I saw these two kids tossing a kitten back and forth like it was a basketball. They put it down and ran off to do something, and I went over to the kitten. It was scrawny and malnourished and scared witless so I took it and gave it to a good home. I found out who owned the kitten and stole it anyway and gave it to a good home. I have stolen other obviously neglected/abused animals and I am snotty enough to make the moral judgement to steal more if I need to. I do not tolerate animal abuse.
What I did is illegal, but it would be immoral not to help the animal.
Do you think it's essential to sometimes break the law to do what is right?
