I taped this song off the radio in about 1986?? and yet have no idea who sings it..!!! It starts off 'out there every morning under windy skies and pounding skies it's a long hard road. you want to break a record here, don't come near" chorus is "you're not alone, we're standing beside you, you're not alone, we'll see you through"
Anyone have any ideas???

Hi Katchick, http://www.80sxchange.com/ubb/smilies//wavey.gif
I think I may know this song. I assume you're from Australia as the song was called "You're not alone" by
"Australian Olympians" (a collection of Oz artists getting together to raise money for the Australian Olympic Team in 1988).
It's strange to think that this could have been played in another country, but it did have an inspirational theme and it never really specified Australia in it.
Hope this helps

Thanks Jimbo
I am from Australia and it did sound like some inspirational song for an Olympics or something, so your answer makes sense.
