Hello to all, I've been trying for days to find information on an early -mid 80's band called 39 Steps. I've had next to no luck at all. I'm counting on someone coming through for me or I don't know what kind of drastic measures I might take. All I can do now is wait.....

Hi "Thestevefox",

Welcome to 80sxchange.com - Well, there is a section called "Where Can I Find This Song" and I'm going to move this over there. You can either go to that forum or click on the big red box in the top left corner and the system will bring you right to the message. Questions like this get answered much faster when added to this special section because people are informed of your question and will come answer it right away...

thoughts of you just memories
no cryin now for what we're missin
time won't forget what you meant to me

Here is what I found, 39 Steps biggest moment was their appearance in the club scene in Woody Allen's movie Hannah and Her Sisters, playing their cult hit "Slip Into the Crowd" from the album of the same name.

They then signed to Joan Jett's Blackheart label and crank out an album (Neon Bible) of good, solid rock & roll. It's not nearly so memorable as that wonderful film moment, but it's a good listen, especially on the tracks that Chris Stein produces.

Hope this is of some help.
