Me!!!!!!!! I think they're awesome! I have the Oingo Boingo DVD and I watch it all the time. I went to see them in 85' I believe it was and it was one of the most fun concerts I've been to! I think it might just be a Cailfornia thing though. :p

I have a couple of their albums, including Boingo Alive. My kids keep asking to listen ot that album. They especially love Dead Man's Party. Unusual taste in music for an eight and a five year old!

Both the tracks from the Bachelor Party CD are awesome.

When I was in the Hard Rock Cafe in Lauderdale they played 'Weird Science' on the Music Video, proof that the 80's are alive and well in Florida!

Oingo Boingo bacame pretty popular in Utah as well. There's been at least one station playing their music here since the mid-80's. My favorites were:

Only A Lad
Stay
We Close Our Eyes
Wake Up (It's 1984)
etc.

Their Anthology disc is one that I'm looking to get soon.

I grew up San Diego and they toured throughout Cali quite a bit in the early 80's. I loved them. They lost me by the time they got to 'Dead Man's Party' but everything before that is awesome to me. 'Nothing To Fear' is still one of my favorite party songs.

By the way, Danny Elfman released an outstanding solo album in the early 80's called...So-Lo of all things. If your a fan of early or later Boingo I would highly recommend it...great stuff....

They have A LOT of greatest hit's albums, but I would pick up "Anthology" and the "Farewell" album.

Anyone in the Los Angeles/San Deigo area should check out "Dead Man's Party". They are the greatest tribute band I have ever seen! At their last show (April 3rd), 3 of the original member of Oingo Boingo were at the show! (Steve Bartek, RIchard Gibbs, and Richard Elfman).
