This has really been bugging me lately. I have a cassette tape, someone made for me, that is of a group called The Stabilizers. The Album was called Tyranny. I have tried to find them on the internet, but have failed miserably. Does anyone know where I can get another copy of this album/cassette/cd. Mine is in horrible shape and cannot be played anymore. :(

I'm seeing the 3 LP's and CD as well...

cleanup...lol..thought you might catch me on that ;) It was making the 'todays active topics' page all screwy, so I cut it down :D

I checked again, and Whadda ya know. Thanks guys. I'm really psyched. I thought I was the only person who liked the Stabilizers. *off to order now* :D

The Stabilizers are from Erie! I've played them on my show many times. "One simple thing" was thier only Hot 100 chart hit, however, "Tyranny" was a BIG local hit! They thank Bill Shannon in the credits, Bill was my first PD at the first radio station I worked at!

That's wonderful, djdaffy. What happened to them????? Their music is out of circulation.

I had the 2 45's in the 80's. I just (in the last year) found the album at the used record store.

So will we hear the Stabilizers on your show tonight?

I couldn't get online last night. :( For some reason my modem (cable) doesn't like Windows XP or Compaq, so they have to send someone to my house to fix it. Hopefully I'll get to listen next week, but remember, I work on Wednesday nights at the restaurant so I only can only catch the last few songs of your show.

Okay, I finally did break down and order the Stabilizers CD. Now I'll be waiting impatiently for it to come in. :D

I haven't heard anything on the status of my order, so don't use up all the blanks yet. :D

My Stabilizers CD came today!!! DJ, you are off the hook and don't have to play them on a regular basis for me. I'll still stalk you though.:sneaky: Just because you know who they are!:D
