Van Halen Reunion
BW&BK reports: As previously reported, BW&BK sources confirm that SAMMY HAGAR and the rest of VAN HALEN are currently locked away in a California studio. No word on whether they are recording a couple of tracks for the much talked about Best Of Vol. II or a full studio record. Insiders say that the band will use the Sammy Hagar pre-Super Bowl show to make the announcement of a reunion (thus ensuring international press coverage). Another rumor surfaced today - the band is currently booking a summer tour and are rumored to have hand picked TESLA to be the opening band. In related news, Tesla’s club/theatre tour starts on March 15th in Oklahoma City, OK and the band will be performing two hour sets in each city.

I hate to say it, but at this point, I don't care anymore. Fans have been waiting for a return with Roth not Hagar, and if they don't at least release some new Hagar material, then there is a zero chance that I will be supporting it. The same applies to Guns and Roses. I just don't care anymore.

I have a friend and his brother (who has worked with the Hagar camp for years) says that they will indeed be touring this summer and that rehearsals should be imminent since Hagar's last commitment was the Super Bowl. I believe the month of June is what he leaked so we'll see. Believe what you like about rumor mongering...but every single thing this guy has told me about Hagar has been true so I believe this to be true or I wouldn't post it.

at this point, it doesn't matter. I'd love to see a reunion with DLR but we all know that will never happen. I'm just interested to see if Eddie can still play after his problems with cancer.

I'd rather see a reunion with Dave too, but that'll happen shortly after hell freezes over. Hey yeah, and Guns and Roses can get back together too and both bands can call it the 'hell froze over' tour. Woo.

Anyway, I never saw VanHalen live back in the day, mainly because they'd kicked out two lead singers before my first rock concert. Grr. So I'll just be happy to get to see Eddie, who I adore.

Am I the only one who could care less if Roth falls off the face of the earth? I despise the man.. he has gone downhill so far, he couldn't sing his way out of a paper bag. Let's face it... he's aged alot faster than he should have and that includes his voice.

Dave seriously gets on my nerves. I prefer Dave-era VanHalen records, but he's like the most abnoxious human being on the damn planet. Ack.. But I love Sammy, so yay.
