Happy Ending For Tears For Fears

Tears For Fears has completed a reunion album and christened it 'Everybody Loves A Happy Ending'.

The new album will be the first Tears For Fears record featuring Roland Orzabal and Curt Smith together since 1989's 'The Seeds of Love'.

The duo made three albums together. 'The Hurting' from 1982 contained the hits 'Mad World', 'Change' and 'Pale Shelter'.

Next came 1985's 'Songs From The Big Chair'. Those hits included 'Everybody Wants To Rule The World', 'Shout' and 'Head Over Heels'.

Last was The Seeds of Love' in 1989. The title track and 'Woman In Chains' were both top 10 hits from that record.

The relationship between the childhood friends Smith and Orzabal broke down after that record and Curt left to pursue a solo career, effectively forcing Orzabal to do the same. However, Orzabal continued to record under the Tears For Fears name releasing two more TFF albums.

The first single from 'Everybody Loves A Happy Ending' will be titled 'Closest Thing To Heaven'. It will be released next month. The album is due early April.

In related news Tears for Fears fans will have a double bonus with the impending DVD release of 'The Best of Tears For Fears'. The DVD will include the rare U.S. remix of 'Mother's Talk'.
