My 'new' New Order CD came today. I pre-ordered it from Amazon.com. They still sound great.

I agree, I think the new album is great stuff. ;) I'm hoping they'll tour soon. As far as I know, they've only played the west coast & haven't released any future dates.

I need to hear that one. I have the Greatest Hits and really enjoy it.

Yes, I think that "Get Ready" is a very good album, considering it's been since 1993 since their last release. I really like "Turn My Way". I think my least favorite track on there is "Rock the Shack". The chorus ruins it for me.

I recommend the CD!

I've only heard a few cuts from the album and I liked them ("Rock the Shack" was the weakest cut I've heard). Can't wait hear the whole thing.

FYI - For those who liked the "Confusion" remix on the Blade soundtrack, there is a remix of "Crystal" by Corvin Dalek that is fantastic!!

I heard that. I agree.....fantastic. I actually love the entire album. I don't know why there have been so many bad reviews. I think ppl were expecting them to release new timeless classics like "True Faith" or "Bizarre Love Triangle" When are they going to realize that's not going to happen. I wish they'd appreciate what they've grown into. *sigh* oh well, i like it, I guess that's all the matters to me.

The new single - 60 Miles an Hour is out in the UK. There are two different singles containing a edit of 60 Miles an Hour and remixes of Someone Like You. There is also a special DVD single containing the video for 60 Miles an Hour.

The next US single will be Someone Like You. The remixes from the UK singles should be included along with two new remixes. :)

I give New Order's current release "Get Ready" a thumbs up!! :thumb:

New Order re-released the cd "Republic" back in 2003 but the original was out in 1993
