On October 9th, Spitfire Records released a new album by rock icon Alice Cooper. The following are my thoughts on each song and these are my honest opinions. I will rate each song on a scale of 1 to 10, with 1-2 being terrible, 3-4 mediocre, 5-6 being average, 7-8 being good, 9-being very good and 10-an absolute classic

Triggerman-The opening track to Dragontown is heavy with great guitar work by underrated Ryan Roxie. This song definitely has a Brutal Planet type of feel to it. (7)

Deeper-a very heavy song, with old Black Sabbath type riffs. (9)

Dragontown-a very moddy, scary song by the master of shock rock. Alice sounds positively wicked on this track. (9)

Sex,Death, and Money-sounds like it could have came off of one of the bizarre early 80's Alice albums such as Dada. This quickly has become one of my two favorites. (10)

Fantasy Man-pure, hard rock/metal at its finest. This song has great guitar work, great vocals, and the most catchy chorus on the album. This is one of my favorite Alice songs in years. Worth buying the album, just for this one. (10)

Somewhere In The Jungle-nothing special here. (4)

Disgraceland-a song where Alice sings like Elvis. The song begins as rockabilly, but quickly becomes a real metal fest. A funny song. (8)

Sister Sara-another spooky song with great riffs (8)

Every Woman Has A Name-all great Alice albums have the obligatory one ballad. This is a beautiful song. Alice has always had a knack for great ballads. The only soft track on Dragontown. (9)

I Just Wanna Be God-interesting lyrics but not one of my favorites (6)

It's Much Too Late-I really like this song. Kind of sounds like it could have appeared on one of his classic 70's albums. A little more midtempo, but an excellent song, which will appeal to fans of Cooper's older material during his 70's heyday. (9)

The Settinel-DT closes with somethinb brutally heavy. A very hard driving song, and fits in well with what is happening in our country, while we are at war with Afganstan. (9)

Overall: 8 or 9. A must have!
