Found these great pics of a very young Depeche Mode on UK show Top of the Pops. Notice a pre Erasure Vince Clark on keyboards and Dave Gahan looks about 12 at most!

I LOVE what they're wearing in the first pic! Is that Andrew Fletcher wearing a visor hat  My fave is Martin, of course. That man is a genius. His fashion sense is a little on the fruity side, but since he's a genius he can get away with it :D

They have a lot of other great pics of 80's bands who apeared on the show, like ABC, Erasure, Spandau Ballet and kajagoogoo.

David Gahan has aged pretty well despite his past drug use.

I agree with you, XXX. Dave does look pretty good these days, in spite of his horrendous heroin habit. I'm surprised Martin wasn't wearing his trademark leather skirt in their first Top of the Pops appearance!

yeah they are wearing stuff of nowadays ;) didn't heard a lot of DM after 1991 but as what i've heard, the voices, the originallity all disseapear and their videos were country-like stuff. Sounds particully to me when I 1st see this. Anyway, another decade, another beat! It's a shame to see that New Wave almost disseapear after 89-90 :bigcry: But I hope one thing, it will do the same with the rap/hip-hop tendance of nowadays!! I'm tired, you turn on you're radio and you heard stuff with Snoop Dog, Nelly, Ja Rule... :bs: :grrr:
