I think that the only one hit wonder that really made an impact on my life was Pac Man Fever by Buckner and Garcia. I say that it made an impact on my life is when the video game craze really hit in 1981 and 1982. Everytime I hear the song it brings back good memories. I definitely feel that it was one of defining moments of the 1980s.

I had this whole album. I remember liking the song about the game "Frogger", it was rather comical. Wow, that was ages ago!!! Thanks for the memories Ironeagle1!! :)

I loved that song...and the game. Another comical One Hit Wonder was "The Curly Shuffle", remember that one? (Woob, Woob, Woob)

I actually found that 45 at the last Austin Record Convention I went to. Paid 50 cents for it.

"The Curly Shuffle" was good enough to land on a Time-Life Sounds Of The 80s CD, alongside tracks by Pat Benatar, Twisted Sister, The Thompson Twins, ABC and DeBarge. Pretty impressive for a novelty tune.

That is impressive! I have never seen that song on any 80's CD complation albums.
I love that song! I even heard in elementary school in the early '80s.
