Just finished reading about that. 6.5 is a good size quake.

Wow, I hope everyone's okay!! :eek: I was talking to a former classmate of mine who now lives in Cali, and she got disconnected when that happened. She's okay, though - she called me back. But still... :eek:

Thank you SIR! We didnt even feel anything major here. Or are we just used to them??? Na, I had a quake in Seattle that was AWESOME! It was like surfing on land!! :thumb:

The first thing I thought of when I heard about the quake were you (surfy) and Lisa. I know there are probably other Xchangers who live in Cali, so I hope they're okay.
The biggest earthquake we've had here in Buffalo was a 3.1 back in 1995. I didn't even feel it. I thought someone dropped domething heavy. :lol:

I hope everyone is OK. I've never been through one, so I don't know how freaky it is, but I'm sure it's not as fun as Surfy is making it out to be. ;) :p

Thanks for asking about me! Everything is fine here. My friend in Paso Robles owns a kitchen shop in downtown where the quake hit. His place is two doors down from the building that collapsed. He just opened the store a few months ago. I feel so sorry for him. Hopefully there aren't too many more aftershocks causing damage!!!

OMG!!!! I didn't hear about this. My stepson is in Paso Robles visiting his mother for the holidays. I didn't hear from him yesterday. Rest assured, I will be trying to reach him today. Also, my best friend lives in Los Angeles. I'll be calling her cell today too.

Alex is fine, it turns out that he's in Los Angeles and didn't even feel the quake. :) I hope we hear from XXX soon.

I am sick with the flu :p Other than that, the earthquake did all the damage in that area of central California. If the earthquake would have happened down here, we'd be in some serious trouble - Northridge was bad enough :(
