Anyone catch it? I actually found it hilarious to see these two spoiled rich girls having to rough it!!! And Its really NOT roughing it!

I saw it, and I'm a little embararrased but I also thought it was funny. I think it's fake though, find it hard to believe , Paris Hilton doesn't know what Walmart or a soup kitchen is.

I passed on it. I think it would mostly be set-ups rather than real life.

Cut's in with my sex and the city re-runs. But i did find the commercials hilarious. Didn't they drop out of the show early?

It's hard to believe that parents that rich couldn't afford to have their daughters educated. :rolleyes: Maybe if they'd been cut off for a few months and had to hock some jewelry or :GASP!: wear the same outfit twice, they wouldn't be such pretentious twits.

I wasn't home to watch it last night, but I think it's on again tonight. Of course I'll watch it, I love to see people make jackasses out of themselves! :D

I laughed my arse off. What a bunch of idiots. I did ask myself if this was true 'real life' just cuz some of the stuff they did or said made me wonder if people were really that dumb. I'm sorry but I don't care how rich I was, I would want an education so I didn't look like a dumb arse. I mean, hello, Nicole said she didn't even know how to drive!!!! Paris attempted it but she hosed that up.

I was quite surprised that they made the girls sleep in that porch area so it made me wonder if this was a setup as well.

Regardless, I plan on watching!!!

They didn't know what a Wal-Mart was.. and then at the end one of them said that the boy they were staying with was cute and that they should have a three some with him.
The show would have started sooner but one of them were at rehab.

Last night, I took a nap...and, consequently, missed the first half of The Simple Life. :(

Didn't catch it and probably won't. Really just doesn't appeal to me.

Wow! I am shocked! Paris Hilton has the personality of a stubbed toe! She doesnt even play around or anything. I think Nicole Richie is fine but Paris is a bore. They should end the show early unless she perks up! AND...stupid doesn't even begin to describe that girl. She should be embarrassed of herself! She doesnt even have respect for anybody. :yucky:

I watched it last night and I think I lost a few brain cells in the process. Paris Hilton is such a jackass. The other girl is okay, but I can tell she just goes along with whatever Paris says and does. It's kinda hard to watch it, cause I keep picturing her in that cheesy sex video! :lol:

I watched part of it and I too think it is set up. Some of it may be real, like: them gett'n dirty, or not knowing what something may be. But, I'm sure they are living it up off camera renting the most expensive victorian house in town. Eating food that personal cooks have for them. Stupid, but funny! Of course that's why they're showing it for.

Last nights show sickened me, to see that bag of bones Paris Hilton and her friend, once , twice, three times a pig, Nicole Ritchie screwaround on a farm was disgusting. Those two wastes of society have never done a hard days work in their life and they thought they were cute and amusing by doing nothing or screwing up jobs on the farm.

Like I said, I found the premeire very funny. But the second show made me sad/upset. Theese 2 screw ups messed with a mans livelyhood. To not even be able to pump milk into a bottle. GOD! What a "simple" life they have lead. This is gonna turn into a "Anna Nichole" show for me. The first show was great, but nothing but a train wreck from there.

Bingo thats exactly my feeling,

I watched it and thought it was kinda funny. I know one thing Paris Hilton is a snobby b**ch! I guess she thinks she is above all of us common folk. Nicole seems okay. She at least trys to do some of the work.

I really like Nicole Ritchie (though I still can't believe that she's the daughter of Lionel Ritchie!). Sure, she's kind of a bubblehead, but she's a bubblehead who knows what Wal-Mart is, and she does at least make a little bit of an effort. If I dare say, Nicole is the "brainy" one.

Paris, however, has as much appeal (sexually or intelligently) as wallpaper paste drying.

I've not seen the show, but I imagine it to be just like all the other "reality" shows on television. No redeeming value for any of it, imo.
