I hope everyone had a good Thanksgiving...(for those who celebrate)

We went to my mom's...my brother had been drinking but he didn't get into it with my mom for once.

I had a good visit with my sister in law. We both had some wine and sort of let some dirty things slip out..luckily..they slipped by mom too

Came home..took a nice HOT bath with my honey....

Turned on the computer and had a nice chat with my friend (and former classmate) who lives in the UK..I hadn't chatted with him for a while since they were busy moving and trying to sell the house. (Hey Taz & Pagan..he's the one who personally knows Jack Bruce :) )

..............so..........how was your day?

I worked... my mother saved me my portion from my brothers.... rather quiet. Thanksgiving isn't that huge of a deal in my family...

My Thanksgiving was pretty good. Spent the whole day watching football at my father's place.

Now, I get to go celebrate Thanksgiving on Saturday with my mother.

In the morning, we had the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade on, and then we watched part of the National Dog Show on. My two aunts, uncle and a family friend came over. My Mom decided to try a Kosher turkey this year, because she heard it tasted better than a regular turkey. Well, she didn't realize that Kosher turkeys still have their pin feathers in it, so she was plucking out the pin feathers. The turkey came out great though, it did taste better than other turkeys I had. We also had stuffing, homemade cranberry sauce and canned cranberry sauce, mashed potatoes, pumpkin bread, grilled vegtbles (mushrooms, eggplant, brussel sprouts, couliflower and anisine (can't remember the real name for this vegtable)), and of course the turkey. Then for dessert we had pumpkin pie that my aunt made and pupkin pie ice cream. Now my stomach is totally out of whack. Why oh why do I overeat at Thanksgiving. :barf:

Kinda boring. watched the football games , My team lost (Dallas cowboys) and my fantasy players did nothing. Ate over inlaws and now I'm home on the computer and debating whether to go shopping at 5:00 am.

it's not Thanksgiving here either, works as usual, but it's the slowest days of the year, as with everything closed in the Us, nothing is being imported or exported....a good time to write up some overdue performance reviews.

I waited all day for the Cowboys-Dolphins game, and was incredibly disappointed, not that they lost , but that they put up such a bad showing, not what you want to see from a playoff team.

Had to buy a new refrigerator , didn't need that before Christmas

finally took the dog out for a walk, i bent over to tie my shoe just as he jumped in the air and the top of his head smacked me in my eye. #%@# that hurt , I saw stars, he's 55 pounds , now I have a redden swollen eye and forehead which I 'll have to explain to everyone

Mine was ok. I don't want to bore you all with the details but let me just say...my mom bought a turkey roll insisting it was a real turkey. :yucky: Least the dog liked it. We had chicken and left over pork roast as our main dish.

Ate dinner with my parents. We had Turkey and all of the fixin's. It was nice and quiet. Then my Boyfriend and I went to my best friends house. Her Dad is a gourmet chef. Needless to say i over ate again this year.

My sister, boyfriend, and I went to two different Thanksgiving meals. Lunch was spent with my mom and stepdad. I stayed over there for half of the day, then went to my dad's for dinner. My sister and I are especially tired today since we both had to help with cooking and dishes at both meals. Overall, good day and very happy about the Dolphins victory yesterday over the Cowboys. :D

Well, I've been sick since Monday, so the good news is I didn't gorge myself with pie. Watched Miami tromp all over Dallas (saddest game I've seen this year! Yikes!). Watched the Macy parade for about 45 minutes. I don't care for all that show tunes stuff. Show me the floats and move your arses....

My Thanksgiving was kinda dull.

My "feast" consisted of three hot dogs and Diet Coke. But at least I didn't consume too many calories yesterday.

My Thanksgiving was okay.

I actually drove up Wednesday night to Philadelphia (still there now, until Sunday morning) dogs and all to the grandparents. A lot of relatives came, and still are here including my mother and step-father.

Got to see my cousin who was mobilized over to Iraq in the beginning of the year for the first time since he returned. We plan to hook up on Saturday night before I leave for Baltimore again early Sunday morning.

I ate more Oatmeal and Peanut Butter cookies than I should have. Ate a lot of turkey, and pumpkin pie.

Watched the football games. Was pissed that Brett Farve stunk up the joint and didn't get some fantasy points with him. Then was pissed that I didn't start Jay Fiedler as my QB in another Fantasy league because he would have given me 28 fantasy points. Now, I have Tommy "Turnover" Maddox as my starting QB this weekend. :irked:

Today, I went out to the mall and Circuit City. Circuit City had a sale today in my area where all CDs were $9.99. Schweeeet! :) I ended up not buying anything though. I would rather save that money for XMAS gifts for others in my family. Plus, the car needs to have some serious tune up on it.

And this evening, we are all going out to the Outback Steakhouse for dinner. I have never been there before, so it should be fun. I am looking forward to trying it out. :)

Mine was okay. I wasn't able to have my family over but I had Danny's family come over. I cooked all day long and they all showed up at 4 and were finished eating at 6 and then left.
It was a bit iratating no one offered to help clean up they just got up and left.
Next year I wont be cooking

I had quite a lovely Thanksgiving. Actually, I had three Thanksgiving dinners in three days, so I've probably eaten more in the past week than I've eaten all year! Now, it's time to hit the malls from some Christmas shopping!!! :)

Remember the :barf: ismiley in my post above? Well, Friday I was really, really sick. Let's just say Molly had too much turkey. I'm still recuperating at my Mom's. I was supposed to go back yesterday, but I'm now staying until tomorrow.
