Tomorrow my husband is going deer hunting. I'm worried sick each year..he's been hunting many years and they always know where each other are but still am a total mess year after year.

Please keep him in your most positive thoughts and prayers for me..I know that he'll be alright but it doesn't hurt to have a little extra help now does it? :)

I want to extend my thoughts of safety to any other hunters that will be out there. KEEP SAFE PLEASE...

Wow, I hope he gets one. My dad just got one last weekend. He says hunting is pretty good this year! :thumb:
Well, anywho, my prayers to you guys. :D

Also, let's not forget the motorists, either. Not unless you want THIS to happen to your car!

Oh, and by the way... just so you know... that's not blood on the side of the car...

No, actually, it's my mom's car. The deer had just decided to become a hood ornament, and left a little extra on the side... literally. :vibrator:

I hit one doing about 80 in a Geo Storm about 8 years ago. The car was completely demolished, but Laura and I walked away without a scratch.

Although I hate the killing of any animal, deer hunting is a necessary evil to control the population or else ALOT more people would be slamming into them in cars. Unfortunately, we eliminated their natural predators, so a-hunting we must go.

Hope your hubby stays safe.

I also hope that your husband stays safe during his hunting trip. I used to go hunting when I was a teenager, but have not gone since then.

Thank you for the well wishes..

He got his limit (2) yesterday. He got a 10 point buck..approx. 225 pounds! Then he got a smaller one.

He's down there today to clean them. My 11 yr old neice went hunting for the first time with her dad and got a small one.

I'm not a hunter, but my uncle-in-law is. I'm sure he'll play it safe this hunting season.

Cool! I'm glad he was able to geta deer! Well... two! :D

Does he have any plans to mount the rack, or even the entire deer head?
