I did a special last night on my show of the top 40 summersongs of the 80's. I compiled the list myself. I used all of Billboards top 10 charts from june 21st to September 22nd for each year in the 80's. Each position was assigned a different number. #10 got 1 point #9 got 2 points....so on....#1 got 10 points. Ties were broken by peak position then weeks at peak position then # of weeks top 10. It took a lot of time to compile this. So now that my special is over I didn't want it to go to waste so I'm sharing it with all my 80's friends. What are you're thoughts? Did any of the songs bring back summer memories? Lots of them did for me.

A lot of those songs brought back lots of memories. I remember listening to a show called "Nightime America". It was a syndicated show via satellite. The local FM station aired it from 2 am to 6 am. I would keep the radio on at low volume so if I woke up I could listen to it. Ah, the memories. <img src="biggrin.gif" border="0">

They sure are!!!

I remember Wham being big with Wham Rap in '82. I just wish that they would play that on the 80's channels!!
