okay, i didn't know where to put this.

The gig was this Saturday and what a gig it was. The venue is excellent and the DJ had us hyped with loads of 80s dance music. No Visage or Depeche Mode though I'm sad to say. Limahl came on stage at 9:45 minus the wig and preformed loads of songs like, 'Don't you want me,' 'Karma Chameleon', 'Tainted Love, 'Rio', and kept us going for quite a while. I didn't look at the time as I was too busy dancing and screaming.

he came over to our table for some pictures and i was so tonguetied it was a shame. he also performed too shy and the neverending story.

he was really sweet though and made sure we all had a great time.

And we're all going to the next gig which is 8 December. At present we're getting several people together for a full out party so let me know if you're interested. Tickets are Ģ19.50 which includes dinner and a cocktail (very very very good i might ad).

before you get the wrong idea. I'm not in any way affiliated with the Roadhouse.

Pkay, i'll try to write more when I've calmed down a bit.

Chris

Sounds like a great show, DJ. I have read that Limahl does put on a terrific retro show, and he's still quite popular in Europe. Hopefully, I'll get the chance to catch one of his shows when I hit London in October!!!

That would be really cool MDC. How long are you staying in London for? he does put on a great retro show. And what with that and the cute bartenders and security guards and him onstage it was the perfect night.

Iīm just imaging Limahl crooning in front of some truckers...as itīs the "Roadhouse"...

Sorry, my mind wandered off topic...would be nice to see more of the 80s artists back on tour again.
A few years ago, ABC toured with two other bands through Germany, but due to my working times back then, I couldnīt see it...

Wave, I saw ABC with Human League, who have a new album out, and Heaven 17 in London a few years ago. ABC released a live album from that tour - The Look of Live.

I will be in London for a total of four nights last of October! I intend on having a very good time while there, needless to say. This will be my second trip to London, and I plan on visiting all the sites I missed on my first trip!
