I've never been there myself since I was only ten in its heyday but may I mention the Camden Palace in London? It was run by Steve Strange and Rusty Egan and they were the ones who started the whole New Romantic Movement. In those days it was *the* club to be seen at. Any magazine that asked a singer about his favourite club got the response 'the Camden Palace.' It used to be an old theatre and then it became this aesome thing. Now there's an annual or weekly meeting of Vampires going on there.
