Definitely not an 80's celeb, but I loved this guy's work. He was best known as the funny side-kick of Gene Kelly in "Singin' In The Rain" (I love that movie).

He did some work in the 80s. The theatrical release "Ragtime" and the 1985 all-star TV version of "Alice In Wonderland" featured roles by him.
Shame, really...I was a fan.
Also, a tennis player named Althea Gibson, one of the first black players to go to Wimbledon, died today as well.
Does it ever end?:(
Sincerely,
